“But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go work today in the vineyard.’ But he replied, ‘I do not want to.’ Yet afterward, he regretted it and went. And the man came to his second son and said the same thing; and he replied, ‘I will, sir’; and yet he did not go. Which of the two did the will of his father?” They *said, “The first.” Jesus *said to them, “Truly I say to you that the tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the kingdom of God before you.
Matthew 21:28-31 (NASB)*
If you continue in My Word, then you are truly My disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
John 8:31-32 (NASB)**
Truth is a reigning theme of the Bible.*** The Lord God and Jesus are called “The Truth.”
Surely, we who follow Them should seek truth, speak truth, and walk in truth... no matter what.
Because Jesus saved us, no matter what, and God still loves us, even if we're...
Partying prodigals with wasted lives,
Proud persecutors, like Saul (Paul) once was,
Quitters on the road, like John Mark once did,
Raving lunatics possessed by demons,
Rich tax collectors profiting on bribes,****
Unsightly beggars we keep passing by,
Timid Christians, still afraid to speak up.
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
Both my previous before-Christ decades and my ongoing study of God's Word… lead me to the SAME TROUBLING CONCLUSION… specifically regarding THE TRUTH:
Better to be an honest atheist or a trash-talking, skin-showing starlet... than to be a hypocritical saint.
Because representing Jesus poorly (by not acting or loving like He does) brings serious harm to the cause of Christ: seeking, finding, and leading lost sheep home!
Could the honesty of brash outsiders help them move closer to the Lord of Truth than the deceit of un-Christlike Christians?****
Therefore, as you work in media's fields, respect the raw truth in people you’ll meet… so they might consider the Truth you know!.

*** Bible Verses about truth: What Does the Bible Say About Truth?
**** 'I tell you the truth, corrupt tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the Kingdom of God before you do' (Matthew 21:31, NLT). (Jesus was talking to leading priests and Jewish elders.)
NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
