Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:11-12 (ESV)
The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
James 5:16 (NKJV)
Many people dream of being heroes, but few people dare to jump into fire. Yet fighting is what grown-up saints must do, until we're called home from active duty.
But didn't Christ already win this war? Yes, our Captain triumphed over Satan...
'He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the Cross. In this way, He disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by His victory over them on the Cross' (Colossians 2:14-15, NLT).
Even so, one qualifier remains: The freedom Jesus won only extends to people who believe and follow Him. So, He commissioned US, His disciples, to go to all the world with the Good News of love, hope, joy, peace, and eternal life. Because God desires all men to be saved.*
But while we love men, we FIGHT THE DEVIL, beating him back one demon at a time: not just to retain our precious freedom, but to seek and to fight for those still lost, including impressionable children.
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
You are your King’s multi-purpose heroes…
Attracting eyes through your shiny talents, witnessing Christ through your good examples, pushing back evil principalities, guarding through intercessory prayer, and leading lost lambs (fans) back to their home!

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
