You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the Hand of your God.

Isaiah 62:3 (ESV)

You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His Own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

1 Peter 2:9 (ESV)

As I write on the royalty of saints, British royals still fascinate the world!

  • From Elizabeth to Charles to William,

  • From Prince Philip to Diana to Kate,

  • From their clothes, to their moves, to their blunders…

  • We track royals, as sheep track their shepherds!

Why?

Starting as children, we’re fascinated with the idea of wearing a crown. We’re daring princes and lovely ladies. We live in castles and fight for the good! (Having servants is a pleasant thought, too:)

Even so, I'm concerned that modern saints don't get what “royalty” means to Christians. Because crowns are a MANDATE FOR SERVICE!

The higher a person's status may reach, the further that person's kindness MUST reach! It's not about the beauty of the crown; it's about well-shod feet hitting the ground: going out, giving hope and helping fans.

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

If the world puts laurels (fame) on your head (through popularity or an award)...

  • Then give the glory to God publicly,

  • Go deeply into prayer privately,

  • Reach out to fans with kind acts of service,

  • Become a role model for little kids,

  • Be an assistant to the Great Shepherd!

He gives YOU the role to find His lost sheep… wandering in the fields of media!

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
