Name Tags: You are… Saints

When He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.

Revelation 14:12 (ESV)

As I glance back in time (2010), I remember when the New Orleans Saints (as underdogs) WON THEIR FIRST SUPERBOWL!

Five years prior, Hurricane Katrina flooded 80% of New Orleans. It brought incredible devastation. Countless people were clinging to rooftops, and their help seemed VERY slow in coming.

What made me “boil” and brought me to my knees were the “Christians” who said they deserved it (because of the city’s party image). 

At that time, I was on the way to Christ, but I ALMOST turned back from their hatred. Because saints are supposed to be saintly: speaking kind words and helping their neighbors; loving ALL men– even their enemies.

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

Recall the salvation criteria that Christ Himself detailed for Judgement Day:

'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me... inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me' (Matthew 25:34-36,40).

As believers set apart for good work, consider yourselves the King’s clean-up crew! Because “CHRISTIAN” HATERS are still hating. They’ve made a dirty, smelly mess of things. 

Therefore, Jesus has been misunderstood, because make-believe saints still act like thugs.

Since you're on His rising and shining team, the team that’s destined for a final win, try your hardest to play a righteous game, and correct self-professed teammates who don't.
