Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1 (ESV)

Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man.

Proverbs 3:3-4 (ESV)

He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.

Revelation 17:14 (NKJV)

Without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)

Most of us have learned (at least in our minds) that faith is a critical component… in walking with Christ now and forever.

Notably, some “Christians” fake it at church, speaking God’s Words without living Them out… (forgetting that God is NEVER faked out.)

Today's devotion presumes your belief, so it concerns “a state” of faithfulness

  • As in trusting God, no matter what comes,

  • As in relying on Him in weakness,

  • As in stepping out, with no end in sight,

  • As in childlike dependency on Him….

As in honoring your obligations and promises (even when it hurts you)--not only to God, but also to men!

Certainly, faith in God always comes first, but faith is so powerful… it reaches and transforms every aspect of your life!

Actors, models, and talent for Christ, your faithfulness covers challenges like...

  • Following the (now) invisible God– and remembering He allows your tests.

  • Trusting Him when everything feels broken– believing the Carpenter will fix it!

  • Supporting presidents you may not like, because the Word says God appointed them.

  • Practicing when others are partying, exceeding other performers in work!

  • Finishing jobs when you say you will– and resisting offers for “greener grass.”

  • Refusing to gripe about petty things– and forgiving (when hatred feels valid.)

  • Moving forward when you think you can't... because you gave your word to do so.

Being faithful is unreasonable, but it’s unmistakably delightful... and not just in front of the King you serve, but it also delights Hollywood's kings.

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
