Name Tags: You are… Eternal

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 3:16 (NKJV)

“Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?”  Then He will answer them, saying, “Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.” And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Mathew 25:44-46 (NKJV)

Eternity is hard for men to grasp. But no one can “grasp” what is not YET here.

  • The more we try to hold on to our lives,

  • The more we try to get rich or gain rank,

  • The more we try to cover our aging,

  • The more we try to avoid death's approach…

  • The more we miss the point of NOW and THEN!

NOW is Earth: Our training and testing ground. NOW we study, so we can ace our tests. Each test question has multiple choices, but in the end, just one correct Answer.

NOTE: Our Principal wants each of us to pass, so we have a lifetime to ask His help! Here's the hitch: we don't know when “then” begins.

THEN lies beyond our lifespans on this Earth. THEN we receive honor or dishonor for our tenure as students in Earth's school.

NOTE: Death is like a graduation doorway from our daily trials and temptations to a consequential eternity. As we have reaped now, so we shall sow “then”.

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

Because you truly love Jesus Christ now, your eternity is guaranteed gold! You've been awarded early acceptance to a wondrous FOREVER position.

CRUCIAL REMINDER: The laudatory fact of this posting doesn't downplay the importance of NOW. It adds great urgency to your duty:

To lead others toward THE Right Answer… before their final examinations.

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
