Trailblazers: Face Every Foe

You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:14-16 (NIV)

When evil grows and growls among Christians, children of light must rise and shine brightly!

When non-biblical lines are spoken in church, faithful Bible readers must refute them!

When Satan waves hate flags to arouse us, Christians walking in love must disarm them!

Consider 3 things heroes of the Word and heroes of the world have in common:

  1. Tough guys and girls stand up (when others don’t).

  2. They speak up (when others are too timid).

  3. They walk forward (when others hunker down).

Heroes don't hide in pews behind closed doors, pretending the monster doesn’t exist. Because he gains power, when saints cower.

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

Here’s the problem: A hate wave is hitting Christian churches. Saints are forgetting their one enemy. According to Christ, it isn’t “the world.” The result?

  • Instead of spreading the best of Good News, (as written in the Trailblazer’s Guide Book)

  • Christians are condemning cultures and laws (which opposes what Jesus did and said).

What can you do?

  1. Remember the fight is spiritual– and not about “beating” leaders or laws. (NOTE: people don’t know what and Who you know.) With bright talent and better behavior, you hit the high notes as God’s messengers– through truth-inviting, death-defying love.

  2. You can't kill Satan or his unseen troops. Their final demise is left for the King. But with God’s power, you CAN subdue them. 'Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you' (Luke 10:19).

Bottom line: God is your Safety Zone– not a church zone. Step up and speak up, as ALL heroes do!

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
