Christian Pitfalls: Lack Of Good Fellowship
Let us consider one another, in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
Hebrews 10:24-25 (NKJV)
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17 (NIV)
For where two or three are gathered in My Name, there am I among them.
Matthew 18:20 (ESV)
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
2 Corinthians 6:14 (NIV)
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
Don’t be deceived or let yourself forget: Every believer needs good fellowship. Among friends, you’ll be stronger and safer.
Consider Jesus in His ministry. At one time, He had many disciples: some who held the course– and some who didn’t. Among the twelve who remained with Him, He chose and maintained an inner circle: Peter, James, and John. With them, He shared deeper revelations.
Remembering this, consider some DO’s:
DO attend an honest-to-Jesus church, that practices love in every regard!
DO find a small group of friends within it: people who love your dreams and pray with you.
DO remember you’re part of God’s body. He didn’t cast you as a solo act!
On the other hand, consider some DON’Ts:
DON’T look for faults in churches or people. Certainly, you’ll find some, but you’re flawed, too!
DON’T go it alone. You’re weaker that way, and more easily prone to Satan’s schemes.
DON’T work in the field of entertainment WITHOUT a band of brothers beside you!
And summarily,
Do be kind and gentle with everyone, but make sure your closest friends are Christians… so you won’t become “unequally yoked” with someone who doesn’t share your values.

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
