King Saul: Witchcraft

Saul died for his breach of faith. He broke faith with the Lord in that he did not keep the command of the Lord, and also consulted a medium, seeking guidance. He did not seek guidance from the Lord. Therefore, the Lord put him to death and turned the kingdom over to David, the son of Jesse.

1 Chronicles 10:13-14 (ESV)

When King Saul defied the order of God concerning the Amalekite booty, when Samuel announced Saul's subsequent disinheritance and loss of kingship,

Although the enactment of these losses was in God’s timing (18 years later), an alarming comparison is made:

'Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft' (1 Samuel 15:23).

Saul's rebellion took the form of plunder: the Amalekite's best sheep and oxen. He defended his prize acquisitions, claiming they would be “sacrificed to God.”

But if God refuses ill-gotten gain, who will stand in the gap to accept it?

Satan, 'The deceiver of the whole world' (Revelation 12:9), descends into ALL spiritual voids.

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

When Christians turned their backs on Hollywood, they left behind them an unseen vacuum.

  • Where God is not, the devil can enter.

  • Where light is not, the darkness can govern.

Only the Lord’s superior power can effectively subdue the occult. Therein, your presence in media’s fields is urgently (desperately) needed!

Specifically…

To bring the light of God to stages and screens; to give defenseless fans a chance to see the One Who radiates love, hope, and joy!

While on this mission, remain vigilant and wary of Satan’s sly deceptions. 

  • When demons are dressed to look like darlings,

  • When naughty witches are seen as heroes,

  • When stars parade their sensuality,

  • When children are tempted to copy them,

  • A satanic power switch has been flipped.

I truly don’t think King Saul understood how the devil played him like a fiddle, how out of (God’s) tune he was becoming, or how one bad note led to another: 

  • Disobedience led to rebellion.

  • Then rebellion led to evil spirits,

  • And evil spirits led to delusion.

Stay in tune with God! Form a close circle of Christian performers. The sweet sound and bright light of your talent… will draw lost fans and deter dark spirits.
