Poor People: The Teams & The Targets

I will make you fishers of men.

Matthew 4:19 (NKJV)

Consider a fishing competition, but it’s spiritual– not physical. Two teams are fighting for the hearts of men.

  1. Team A represents the Almighty God. Jesus coaches and captains a small boat.

  2. Team B represents Belial (Satan). The devil enslaves and captains a fleet

At first glance, the team’s lures seem similar: charismatic and eye-catching talent… cast in the murky seas of media– and both teams work non-stop to win the game.

Team A reflects the Son and His brilliance. Their fishing lines are made from light and love. Fans who follow and “bite” the Bread of Life… are transformed and lifted to a new life: walking with Christ from glory to glory.

Team B reflects Satan and his fake light. Their lines are pumped up and woven from lies. Fans who follow and “bite” their tempting bait…  are misled and keep spiraling downward: wasting away from dollar to dollar.

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

Your rising roles as performers of light have become an urgent necessity, as arts, entertainment, and media hold the eyes and hearts of countless people.

Tragically, most churches are landlocked– with immovable walls, pews, rules, and hearts. They stare at the world through narrow windows, and shake their heads at all evil “out there.”

Meanwhile, poor, skinny, and wandering fish… are immersed in shows and celebrities… looking for hope, guidance, and fulfillment.

So, no matter what closed-door Christians say, embrace your roles as A-Team fishermen!

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
