Poor People: Their Exploitation

In their greed, they will exploit you with false words.

2 Peter 2:3 (ESV)

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound

Isaiah 61:1 (NKJV)

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:3 (NASB)

Who are the poor and the disadvantaged, and what are some ways they’ve been exploited?

  • Kids lacking wise and attentive parents are targets for bullies and predators.

  • Teens lacking resources or protection are easy prey and may fall into gangs.

  • Seniors lacking family involvement trust wily schemers and lose life savings.

  • Empty hearts lacking love and fulfillment are prime marks for every type of salesman.

  • Innocent hearts lacking a defender give themselves away to all kinds of brutes,

  • Immigrants (like we were) seeking new lives pay smugglers huge fees and die on the way.

  • Beggars and strangers, hungry and homeless, are regularly ignored and abused.

  • Naive Christians who don’t study the Word are misled by pastors who misquote Christ.

  • Lost sheep (fans) following media stars are misled and harmed by bad examples.

Exploitation of the poor began when Satan conned Eve (who wasn't poor at all), but he led her to think that she might be... LACKING a lovely, tasty piece of fruit and an elevated status with God.

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

Jesus came to seek, reach, and save the poor: those poor in spirit and/or in assets. Why? They were humble and knew they needed help.

He now sends YOU to the VERY SAME GROUPS! Jesus allowed Media’s construction as the modern way for you to rise and shine.

DO REMEMBER your target audience! Lost people, lost fans, a.k.a. “The Poor.”

Poor People: Their Exploitation (Part 4)

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
