The Fragility Of Life: Our Daily Duty
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
2 Corinthians 6:2 (NKJV)
As Jesus passed on from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him.
Matthew 9:9 (ESV)
And as He walked by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then Jesus said to them, ‘Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.’ They immediately left their nets and followed Him.
When He had gone a little farther from there, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending their nets. And immediately He called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and went after Him.
Mark 1:16-20 (NKJV)
Because loving Jesus and our neighbors are, indisputably, our TOP orders…
Because life as we know it is fragile, and earthly tomorrows are not guaranteed…
Because our King’s first-chosen disciples followed their Leader IMMEDIATELY…
Because procrastination is harmful (or deadly), as the Word of God reveals*…
Actors, models, and talent for Christ: TODAY is the day to do what God says, especially regarding your calling.
I realize it’s hard for young people to see it that way. Maybe that’s why God gives them great passion to follow their hearts.**
Still, considering our obligations, regarding work, school, family, and friends, how do we carve out time for our callings?
Ask God and LISTEN.
He knows what they need. He knows what they want. He knows what YOU need, and you know what HE wants.
Our God is a God of perfect order. If you put Him first, He’ll show you the way…
To cut out fruitless pursuits and time-takers,
To reorganize your daily To-Do’s,
To maximize your opportunities,
And live your best life each and every day.
Actors, models, and talent for Christ: For you, the entertainment industry is not a selfish, trivial pursuit, so don’t let anyone tell you it is. (Nor should you waste time arguing with fools.)
Because life is the VERY MOST FRAGILE for lost sheep (fans) who don’t know the way home.
By stepping up on media’s stages, you can lead them in the right direction.

** Many of earth’s greatest movements have begun on college campuses (or among youths ages 18-25), where kids are “unyoked” from their parents, and have greater freedom to follow their hopes and dreams.
