Now I rejoice in my sufferings… for the sake of his body, that is, the church, of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known, the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints. To them, God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Colossians 1:24-27 (ESV)
Mystery is a cinematic theme!
A hint that something BIG is happening.
A wink that life is bigger than we think.
A lead that excites curiosity.
A clue that summons investigation.
A nametag that invites seekers to find…
Put it on with a wise and friendly smile, then watch as people will be drawn to you.
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
Even the best mystery books and films pale in comparison to the Gospel! To the outsiders in the audience, it seems little more than a fairytale, a strange puzzle they can't put together, or a secret knocking at their heart’s door.
God gave YOU the KEY to His Whodunit! You received the most glorious Answer to crucial questions of the human heart...
'Why was I born and what is my purpose?'
‘Why do I feel so lonely and empty?’
'Isn't there more to life than what I see?'
Since entertainers are story-tellers, consider one part of your performance:
Your Teacher often spoke in Parables: stories that gently led God-opened minds– OR turned away the mockers and skeptics. But for those who stayed in rapt attendance… were the people predestined to believe. (Jesus realized some would walk away.)
Therefore, don't expect more than Jesus did. Some naysayers may boo or heckle you. No matter! You're performing for the fans who WILL soon understand the mystery!

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
