Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul...
1 Peter 2:11 (NKJV)
I believe mature saints must understand and FULLY EMBRACE this unsettling truth: This world isn't our home. We’re visitors.
We’re pilgrims on a God-given mission… and visas with an expiration date. Only He knows everyone’s timetable. Therefore, we’re wise to spend our time wisely.
We're not here to build empires of success. We're here to help build the kingdom of God.
We're not here to display wealthy lifestyles. We're here to present a humble Savior.
We're not here to become self-centered stars. We're here to reflect One Absolute Star.
We're not here to hunker down in churches. We're here to stand up for Christ in the world.
We're not here to have fun and play with toys. We're here to work hard and carry a cross.
We're not here to win mankind's approval. We're here to deny it matters… at all.
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
This tag isn’t an easy name to wear (because most foreigners want to blend in!) Therefore, many Christians try to hide it. it's most often seen in two glowing groups:
It’s seen in poor or persecuted saints, who've risen from the fires of affliction, and shine brightly with the Light of the Lord.
It’s seen in seasoned saints with light-filled eyes: those who've distanced and disciplined themselves from selfishness and humbly serve others. (NOTE: How best can we serve? Certainly, by love!)
I'm not sure I wear this name tag enough. But LET US ALL aspire to wear it more. It's who we MUST be and what we must do.
Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.’ (1 Colossians 3:14).

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
