What does it mean to be honorable?

“The word honorable has to do with people and actions that are honest, fair, and worthy of respect. An honorable person is someone who believes in truth and doing the right thing — and tries to live up to those high principles.” (Dictionary.com)

If you word-search “honor” in the Bible,* you’ll see how important it is to God. This quality is rare and highly prized.

It identifies you as a leader: a just, noble, and virtuous person.

When God tells you to honor someone else (parents, elders, rulers, or He, Himself)... it means:

“To hold in respect or esteem; to show courteous behavior” (Collins Dictionary)

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

To live up to this exalted nametag, your behavior must be exemplary– which requires effort and self-discipline. So when you mess up, BE REAL and fess up (which shows humility and honesty).

The King of kings and kings of Hollywood… both appreciate this code of conduct,

AND… don’t forget to honor your elders, your leaders, and most importantly, God!

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
