I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me, you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
John 15:1-8 (NKJV)
Bearing fruit is a theme of the Bible, and it’s a MANDATE for mature Christians. (Young saints, like trees, must grow up to bear fruit.)
If Jesus compares people to farmers,
Also to soil where life seeds are planted,
Also to branches and fruit-bearing trees,
Also to servants in charge of His wealth,
(His Teachings cover all of these subjects)...
Then becoming His fruitful followers is VITAL during our tenure on Earth.* For Christians, this world is God’s testing ground!
If we don’t bear fruit in our assigned fields… the repercussions could be disastrous.**
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
In regards to our productivity (aka the “fruitfulness” of our lives), let’s consider some crucial messages:
Apart from Jesus, our fruit is missing, bitter, or harmful for people to eat.
Just as the best fruit comes from the best seeds, godly fruit comes from His Spirit in us.***
Our hearts (soil) must be tender and open, for His Seed to become the Bread of Life…
Which not only makes our lives fulfilling, but also nourishes those around us.
In all cultures, the fruit of the Spirit is a valued, welcomed appetizer!
For you and through you, God sets a banquet, where outsiders can become insiders!
Therein, you feed lost and searching souls– pleasing the Lord and His Heavenly Hosts.

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
