Losers: Unsaved Sinners Going To Hell
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, Who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
1 Timothy 2:1-4 (NIV)
One of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling abuse at Him, saying, “Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!” But the other responded, and rebuking him, said, “Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our crimes; but this man has done nothing wrong.” And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!” And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”
Luke 23:39-43 (NASB)
I don’t want anyone to go to hell. Our Creator doesn’t want it either. However, the Bible clearly reveals (in “The Rich Man and Lazarus” story)... Hell is a real and terrifying place!
I don’t want to believe it, but I must, because I believe the Bible is true– literally and spiritually. Are metaphors in it? Certainly, YES. Consider The Parable of the Soils. The Word DOES use symbols and images, but it’s dangerous to see hell that way (or perhaps better said, “merely” that way.)
For my kin who also think, “Hell is real,” let’s remember: We’re not “licensed” to judge who’s going where!
SIDEBAR: A friend once told me her neighbor had died. I said, “I’m sorry.” What she said SHOCKED me. “He’s going to hell.”
I gather she tried to witness to him, but she hadn’t seen a resulting change.
At that point, I was a new believer, so I didn’t know how to answer her… but I didn’t agree. How could she know?
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
The sinner on the Cross next to Jesus (as documented in the Book of Luke) shows salvation can come in life’s last hour. It may or may not be witnessed by men. It is, after all, between them and God.
Bottom line?
Only God can judge winners and losers. Your job is to pray, be kind, and show love– which is your role as Christ’s ambassadors.

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
