Losers: Kids?

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 19:14 (ESV)

You have taught children and infants to tell of Your strength, silencing Your enemies and all who oppose You.

Psalm 8:2 (NLT)

In most cultures, “kids” become adults at 18. But even then, they can be “written off” as too young to have wisdom or insight, too young for God-inspired dreams or missions.

But…

Just as God has no upper age limit to become heroic visionaries, (think of Abraham, Moses, and Caleb)…

He also calls the young to rise and shine, like David, Jeremiah, and Mary!

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

The # of talented kids I’ve met, with extraordinary maturity and a crystal clear grasp of their calling, is beyond my ability to count. Shine and the world have been blessed by MANY!

Clearly, their parents were on the same page, as godly managers of bright destinies. They smoothed their paths and walked right beside them. These young ambassadors for Christ win BIG– moving hearts, minds, and lives toward Jesus.

But even the kids with “clueless” parents, (whose faithless fears seem to hold their kids back), will “win” soon enough if they don’t give up.

How can you help?

  • Respect child wisdom and nourish their dreams.

  • Pay attention to young and eager fans.

  • (No, you can’t argue with stubborn parents…)

  • But you can let them know their hopes matter,

  • And no dream from God is impossible!

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
