2000 years after the King’s triumph, an ancient serpent runs a modern course, but it started countless eons ago:

  • 'The Lord said to Satan, 'From where do you come?' So Satan answered the Lord and said, 'From going to and fro on the earth' ' (Job 1:7).

The Book of Job shows… the fallen angel (along with his demonic government) hunting for every possible victim. He worked with one-on-one dedication in a multi-level marketing plan:

As he tempted Eve, Eve tempted Adam, and it multiplied… exponentially.

Now, 'The prince of the power of the air' (Ephesians 2:2) has a new angle.

  • Through the invention of the internet, one lying hit can reach countless millions.

  • It's a mass-marketed destruction plan built from the art and science of spinning.

It's not about spinning plates in a show or a group of bicycles in a gym. Shockingly, he’s spinning lines of power. With increasing glee, Earth's spinmeister flies:

  • Circling through our skies,

  • Weaving grievous lies. 

Among spiders, sticky threads are called silk. Among people, sticky threads are called hype. They attract and attach us to their web.

In a cunning “tell”, 'The father of lies' (John 8:44) gave his spinning wheel a telling title: the WORLD WIDE WEB (a.k.a. Internet)

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

You’re now called to overcome Satan’s lies: lies about love, contentment, and purpose– and especially lies about Jesus.

You're called as understudies to THE Star, to overcome 'The ruler of this world' (John 12:31).

  • His hook is media.

  • His net is a web. 

You enter this web with God’s protection. So be confident! What the enemy intended for harm, 'God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives' (Genesis 50:20).

As fishers of men, you hold a net, too! Built by Jesus and empowered by God, it's a network of Christians joined by love.
