Christian Pitfalls: Lack Of Newness
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it?
Isaiah 43:19 (NKJV)
Oh, sing to the Lord a new song!
Psalm 98:1 (NKJV)
We also should walk in newness of life.
Romans 6:4 (NKJV)
Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth. Shall you not know it?
Isaiah 43:18-19 (NKJV)
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead…
Philippians 3:13 (NKJV)
Since our Father is all about newness, He creates new things c-o-n-t-i-n-u-a-l-l-y. Our discoveries and fascination with His creations delight us daily!
Since God made us (people) in His Image, placing in us unique gifts and talents, giving us dominion over the earth, we have roles in the “family business.”.
Since film, fashion, music, and theatre are fields that focus on creativity, performers must SHOW creativity.
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
Newness is required c-o-n-t-i-n-u-a-l-l-y! So don’t fall into a “Lack of Newness,” because many performers get stuck there.
They look the same way.
They play the same roles.
They show the same pics.
They sing the same songs.
But they don’t book much…
IF they book at all.
If you’re reading or hearing this message, fight the easy pull of complacency. You’re called to be (and remain) ACTION STARS!
Industry stars continue to evolve, and show the people tracking them… NEW THINGS.
The BIGGEST STAR OF ALL, namely Jesus, continued to surprise His audience. You must do the same.

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
