Christian Pitfalls: Lack Of Faith

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

2 Corinthians 5:7 (ESV)

So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

1 Corinthians 2:5 (ESV)

Every Christian knows, ‘Without faith, it is impossible to please God’ (Hebrews 11:9). But do all of us know…

FAITH IS A CHOICE!?!

That choice is easy when singing in church, but NOT so much in hard situations, like…

  • Being content in ALL circumstances.

  • Working “heartily” in jobs we don’t like.

  • Enduring a prolonged time of trials.

  • Experiencing financial hardship.

  • Walking the narrow path, when others don’t.

  • Believing for healing, when others don’t.

  • Continuing our course without a “win”.

  • Praying for loved ones who don’t share our faith.

  • Refusing vengeance that seems justified.

  • Remaining peaceful in a crazy world.

  • Obeying leaders and laws we don’t like…

  • Remembering God, Himself, allows them!

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

Your faith tests won’t end this side of Heaven. As a Man, Christ’s tests didn’t end either. Why?

Because passing faith tests builds faith “muscles”, and as all athletes know, it’s not easy. Physically and spiritually, this “breaking down” pain yields “building up” strength: not just for you, but strength to help others.

Therefore, don’t sit it out. Go to God’s gym (aka, the world, aka, media)... because your strength (faith) can save countless lives!

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
