The Taylor Swift Effect: Hope
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Romans 15:13 (ESV)
If hope provides the building blocks for faith, if faith is required for dreams to come true, if living our dreams gives us lasting joy… then hope is absolutely essential. It’s the ember and the flame we must fan!
If hopelessness is the silent alarm of a life-threatening emergency, with pending harm to ourselves or others (and slowly or quickly, we’re headed down)... then hopeless lambs must be found and tended.
For the reasons we’ve already noted (and most likely more, I haven’t addressed)... Taylor inspires hope among her Swifties!
Their dreams begin to feel achievable.
Their problems begin to feel solvable.
Their lives begin to feel valuable.
Their loneliness begins fading away,
Replaced by purpose and community.
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
God is sending you to find His lost sheep, who wander aimlessly through media. These fans don’t know Him or their true home (yet).
Taylor’s infusion of hope is helpful. YOUR infusion of hope is eternal!
Has Taylor uplifted countless millions? Perhaps you will, too! May God’s will be done!
But don’t let numbers become your goals. This isn’t the time or place to “count sheep.” You’re not sleeping on your watch. You’re awake! The Lord cherishes each of His children, and YOU have the way and means to find them!
Whether you give hope to one or millions, you’re extending a foundation of faith that DOES move mountains and WILL fulfill dreams!

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
LINKS, NOTES & THINGS TO CONSIDER
* From Psychology Today re: loneliness:
“Science tells us that this sense of having "a tribe" is one of the most important aspects to a happy life. For example, one study of 120,000 respondents found that closeness to one's community was a strong predictor of personal happiness. Other studies have found that loneliness is as bad for your health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day and worse for your health than obesity, while a sense of belonging reduces risk for depression, dementia, heart disease, and early death.”
