The Taylor Swift Effect: Branding
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
Matthew 5:14-16 (NIV)
If you study Taylor Swift at 14, and compare it as decades move forward… you’ll see her branding remains consistent!
The blonde, smiling American singer… is a blonde, smiling worldwide superstar. Her look remains fresh, clean, and appealing, so why change what’s obviously working?
Even so, she keeps up with what’s trending– and, as all leaders must, Taylor sets trends.
But her brand is also EMOTIONAL, built quite solidly on her behavior.
“She has built a massively successful multi-billion dollar brand established on authenticity, personal connection, and relatability.” (Forbes)
“Today, she is a multifaceted brand influencing not only the music industry but also the global economy, travel trends, and even academic discourse. As her influence continues to grow, Taylor Swift exemplifies the power of a well-crafted personal brand that resonates far beyond the borders of the entertainment industry.” (Admind)
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
Throughout the Entertainment Industry, and all the celebrities within it, marketability is built on “shine”.
The company, SHINE, is built on it, too.
Your future success also requires SHINE.
Doesn’t God Himself say to “Rise” and “SHINE”?
If marketability depends on SHINE: the bold, fearless truth in being yourself, the charisma that draws people to you… then trust that God will empower you to:
‘Arise, shine; for your light has come,
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
For behold, darkness will cover the earth
And deep darkness the peoples;
But the Lord will rise upon you
And His glory will appear upon you.
Nations will come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising’ (Isaiah 60:1-3).

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
