Poor People: To Whom Much Is Given
A certain ruler asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
Luke 18:18 (NIV)
Master… I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground.
Matthew 25:24-25 (ESV)
Since we know godly people can be rich, consider four rich men who followed Christ.
Jairus, a dad and synagogue ruler, humbled himself at the Feet of Jesus, and the Healer healed his dying daughter.
Nicodemus, a noted Pharisee, came privately to see Jesus at night… but later, publicly defended Him.
Likewise, Joseph of Arimathea, a leading Jew and secret disciple, came forward to ask for the Lord’s Body.*
Zacchaeus, a greedy tax collector became a repentant philanthropist. He turned from a taker to a giver.
Each of these men are real-life examples of how wealthy people can follow Christ. Each one decided to risk EVERYTHING (their reputations, their wealth, and their lives)...
When they placed their faith in the risen King, pleasing old friends paled in comparison to pleasing their Lord. Each proved they loved Him more than money.
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
I have full faith in your priorities! But remember, talent is also wealth! Don’t let Satan use any of his tricks to discourage your walk or make you quit…(because he’s familiar with your soft spots.)
Also because…
'From everyone who has been given much, much will be required' (Luke 12:48).**

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
