All Things: Are Meant To Unite

We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Romans 8:28 (NKJV)

Some of you know Shine’s unique history (which happens to be my history, too):

  • How a New York fashion model met a World War ll fighter pilot (and they wed).

  • How the fashion model once dreamed she’d be an evangelist (and we are).

  • How decades later, her dream became true. Their union gives Shine a cool storyline.

In thinking about WWll’s horrors, including the attempted genocide of the Jews (starting with those in Europe), the U.S. was, at first, apathetic. Only Pearl Harbor, a hometown horror, softened hard hearts. The blow united us.

Actors, models, and talent for Christ, here's my point:

The horrors of war are happening now. Again, most of us are apathetic, while a significant minority see, pray, donate, and help as they best can.

But think of a different kind of horror: one born and bred in our star-spangled states. It’s happening every day, everywhere. Lost lambs being are misled by entertainment, because lost sheep (parents) were misled first.

Both follow squads of American stars in film, fashion, music and theatre. But without God-inspired direction, these stars aren’t leaders people should follow.

How did the American church respond? Many pastors pointed angry fingers, and told talented Christians, “Don’t go there,” which is NOT what our King said or did.

Yet here you now are, rising and shining… Christ’s brave and talented ambassadors! By your leading acts of love, joy and peace, apathy is blown out of the water.

You're like a spiritual Pearl Harbor, overriding the bad with star power (which is no less than Jesus within you)... toward the ultimate goal of unity– that every lost sheep with find their Shepherd.

All Things: Are Meant To Unite (Part 22)

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
