And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' • Followers of Jesus are outward bound. They’re not contained by four walls and a roof.

  • Followers of Jesus love each other. They’re not tied down by sectarianism.

  • Followers of Jesus love everyone. They’re not judgmental. Their love is boundless.

  • Followers of Jesus are called servants. They go out of their way to help others.

Actors, models, and talent for Christ: You’re free from Satan, but self-bound to Christ.

To follow Him, you must carry a cross. It's your duty, regardless of the cost. You must be about your Father's business.

Within the great fields of entertainment, you’re moving skyward. Your path began with countless cross-shaped poles… that covered America with power. It continues on uncountable screens that cover Earth with communication.

Media's king is a fallen angel. He’s 'The prince of the power of the air' (Ephesians 3:3). Can he overtake you and throw you down? No!

When God calls you up, HE WILL defend you: ‘Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you’ (Luke 10:19).

You’re working under the Upmost Captain! He gives you talent, wisdom, and guidance. The result? A surprise win, like Joseph!

What media’s meister meant for evil, 'God meant it for good, in order... to save many people alive' (Genesis 50:20).

Therein lies your incredible mission.

Even so, your personal destinies depend on your use of the right pronouns, which do NOT include 'I, me, my, or mine.'

Personal Pronouns: They, Them, Theirs (Part 5, Conclusion)

* I’m fully aware that ‘they’, ‘them’, and ‘theirs’ has taken on new meaning in this era of rising gender fluidity. That being said, I believe Christ’s call TO LOVE our neighbors supersedes (by an endless, immeasurable amount) the temptation to judge our neighbors. I choose Jesus. I choose love. I choose obedience to the Teacher:

‘ ‘Teacher, which is the greatest Commandment in the Law?’ ‘

‘ ‘Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest Commandment. And the Second is like It: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two Commandments’ ‘(Matthew 22:36-40).

NOTE: This is a 2023 update of a 2013 Carey Lewis Devotion. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players. Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
