The Armor Of God: Praise & Worship

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the Earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, He is God! It is He Who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His Name! For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.

Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all you stars of light!

Psalm 148:3 (NKJV)

Satan hates the sound of praise and worship.

To him, it feels like…

  • Rock-hard fingernails, scratching his chalkboard.

  • Offensive cacophony to his ears.

  • Holy kryptonite, draining his strength.

He and his evil army of demons can bear these sweet sounds only for a time… until they feel their strongholds loosening.

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

When the enemy is attacking you… IF YOU WHOLEHEARTEDLY PRAISE AND WORSHIP GOD (without ceasing until your peace returns)... the attacks WILL cease… temporarily.

  • Certainly, they won’t stop altogether… while you’re living on this side of Heaven.

  • BUT… you can live, love, walk, and work in peace… in the mission fields of entertainment,

  • Where your presence is urgently needed… as performing ambassadors for Christ.

Never neglect the no-fail protection (provided by the holy connection) established by the sounds of praise and worship!
