Youth is a cultural fascination, and media focuses on the young! God talks a lot about young people, too, and their value in His army of love. Therein, consider two thoughts about youth:
Young people form the front lines in battles. Their vigor and passion are powerful. But they need time, patience, guidance, knowledge, and the humility to wait their turn. Even young Jesus had to learn and wait.
Grown-ups must become like little children, with open-hearts, humility, and faith, to join Christ in the Kingdom of Heaven: obviously, not in the physical, but youthful excitement IS evident in Spirit-filled adults of any age.
Therein, consider:
To young Christians reading this devotion: Your age and talents are well-timed tickets to a huge concert called Entertainment.
So rise, be cool, and be counted for Christ. You know you can’t “force-feed” faith to others. But offering the fruit of the Spirit is an appetizer with broad appeal.*
To all mature believers wondering... Are you too old to step up on this stage? Were Abram, Sarai, and Moses too old? Was Caleb too old to defeat giants?
All armies need wise trainers and leaders. If your heart is ringing like an alarm, and the nudge to perform has never left, get up, get dressed, and GO where God tells you.
God made you BOTH for a time such as this.
Therefore, magnify the talents you have and reflect His Light to become His stars in film, fashion, music, and theatre…to lead lost lambs and wayward sheep back home!

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
