Name Tags: You are… Rescued & Saved
What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, Who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!
Romans 7:24-25 (NIV)
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.
Ephesians 2:8 (NIV)
If we believe in Jesus as God’s Son, Who died to save us and rose from the dead…
If we confess Christ as our Lord and King, then without a doubt, we’re rescued and saved!
On the other hand…
The devil and his team ALSO believe, and they’re painfully aware that Christ rose…
But they will never confess Him as Lord, so without a doubt, they’re condemned to hell.
We might conclude the CRUCIAL DIFFERENCE between Satan and honest-to-God saints… is the acknowledgement of Christ as Lord.
Since Jesus saved us from hellish torment... that acknowledgement seems a small thank-You.
So why do we SO frequently buck it? Why do we think our yoke is SO heavy? Compared His yoke (the weight of the Cross), our duty and commission as Christians is gentle… AND He helps us every step of THE WAY!
I believe the reason we go astray is because we lose sight of our Hero. We forget that we’d be dead without Him. We also forget we’re SAVED through Him.
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
Since you're entering the king of bling’s den, keep your focus on Jesus as your Lord. HOW?
Visit with Him daily in the Good Book.
Study His Lines as your most urgent Script.
Frequent a small group with like-hearted kin.
Humble yourself. Never get uppity.
Rehearse Your Captain’s Orders… and DO Them.
When you mess up, repent and make amends.
When you fall, get back up, and try again!
Jesus hung on a Cross to RESCUE you, and your SAVED status is an always-gift. When you rise and shine, you reflect THE King– and show others these nametags can be theirs!

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
