God, Who knows the heart, showed that He accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as He did to us.
Acts 15:8 (NIV)
To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
Ephesians 1:6 (NKJV)
Way back in man's earliest days on Earth, when Adam and Eve had to leave Eden,
When they worked the land and had two sons,
When Cain, the elder, offered God some crops,
The Lord didn’t respect Cain's offering.
Perhaps Cain didn’t give his very best. Perhaps he gave with a reluctant heart. So God offered Cain some timeless advice:
'If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it' (Genesis 4:7, NKJV).
But instead of accepting God's counsel, Cain accepted Satan's terrible thoughts. He gave in to irrational fury and murdered his righteous brother, Abel. Since then, the entirety of mankind…has continued in Cain’s jealous decline.
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
When Jesus, the Man, came to live with us, He chose to be our Flawless Offering (because we couldn’t do it on our own)... and we became ACCEPTED through Him.
Consider the wondrous consequences of your acceptance by God through His Son:
You are neither rejected, nor alone. You have unlimited access to God!
You're not (JUST) acceptable to Him, but God watches you with care and delight.
Satan doesn’t have the right or power to label you as unacceptable.
If “name-only” Christians try to shame you, drop them as friends and discard their remarks…
Then walk out YOUR ACCEPTABILITY by doing the things that please your Father.

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
