If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, Who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

1 Corinthians 5:17-20 (NKJV)

Some Christians forget they wear this nametag, but this appointment is NOT optional! So let’s review what ambassadors do!

“Ambassadors are high-ranking diplomats, representing their home country, while maintaining positive relationships with other nations.” (Indeed Career Guide)

For you, this title carries a mission: namely, one of reconciliation.

So what does reconciliation mean? It's when broken people kiss and make up. It's a renewed union or agreement. It's a restored relationship with God: a much-anticipated reunion between a Father and His lost children.

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

Nothing escapes our Father’s attention…

  • Including the stunning development of arts, entertainment, and media,

  • Including its overwhelming impact on the thoughts and desires of Earth’s people,

  • Including lost sheep He wants to come home and children with impressionable eyes!

I believe He allowed media’s growth for YOUR entrance: TO RISE AND SHINE FOR HIM! How better to go into all the world? As you rise, remember 2 key duties:

  1. You’re representing Jesus and Heaven, the King of kings, and your forever home. People are tempted to think Earth is home (since it’s all their physical selves have known). But God put eternity in ALL hearts, so deep down they know, “something” IS out there!

  2. The people you’re sent to reach are two-fold. A. “Name-only” Christians who need God’s Spirit. B. Outsiders: lost lambs, sheep, and prodigals. But for a “cold” audience to believe, you must love these people like Jesus did.

When Jesus, as a Man, preached in Person, signs and wonders (sometimes) came with His Words. I suggest you show “signs and wonders,” too, which are far too seldom seen in the church. Specifically, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self-control.

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
