Giving: Poor Fans

You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; clearly, you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink, but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone, but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.

2 Corinthians 3:2-3 (NKJV)

People have many misunderstandings.

  • They think money will bring them contentment– and when it doesn’t, they think they need more.

  • They think beauty will affirm their value– and when it doesn’t, they think they need more.

  • They think cool stuff will make them happier– and when it doesn’t, they think they need more.

  • They think power will insure their safety– and when it doesn’t, they think they need more.

  • They think poor people are “less” than they are– which is our biggest misunderstanding! Pride can be deadly! ‘Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall’ (Proverbs 16:18).

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

As your King’s talented ambassadors, as His rise and shine communicators, you enter the fields of entertainment TO CLARIFY these misunderstandings!

An intriguing truth: A case can be made that “celebrity” is America’s #1 export. But star performances are simply bait… to sell tickets– but you’re aware of that.

Tragically, what’s not as obvious are celebrities “selling” their lifestyles… to poor people who want to be “like” them! “Eating” these lifestyles has made some fans sick.

Your life shows something and SOMEONE better! Inside of you is the TRUE Bread of life. Inside of you is the world’s best story! Because you are the Rock Star’s “epistles”!

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

In fishing for God, you’re repping Jesus. Isn’t that the purpose of your talent? ‘For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost’ (Luke 19:10).

Giving: Poor Fans (Part 11)

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
