Trailblazers: Stay Prepared

Be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Matthew 24:44 (ESV)

Salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.

Romans 13:11 (ESV)

On the great night of the first Passover, God told the Jews to stay dressed and eat light. While they didn't understand the reason, they witnessed all the plagues, and they obeyed. The time had come for them to leave Egypt.

Acting in faith, they were PREPARED and spared. God’s Foot was on the accelerator, and the next day, Pharoah let God’s people go!

Dearest friends in Christ: The Day of the Lord coming to US, and Christ says… if we’re prepared, we’ll be spared! Although the world will be caught by surprise, the time is QUICKLY coming for judgment.

God’s Foot is on the accelerator…

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

As His trailblazers, always stay prepared. Consider three parts of preparation:

  1. Avoid complacency like a disease. When God says come or go, come or go NOW. Because in the neutral zone, you'll stall out. Rising and shining doesn’t mean idling. Your Father in Heaven… doesn’t idle. Your Savior at His right side… doesn’t stall– and He designed His trailblazers to move!

  2. Dress for success in ‘Robe[s] of righteousness’ (Isaiah 61:10). Wise guides gear up for hikes in hard places, because 'If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit' (Matthew 15:14). So put on the 'Armor of God' (Ephesians 6:11) DAILY.* Dress like a star, but STAY in gear with God.

  3. Don't blend, don’t copy, and stay uncommon! John the Baptist was notably unique. He wasn’t “religious” or pretentious, which drew attention to his ministry. Similarly, avoid looking churchy. Know what’s trending, but stay “one of a kind,” which is pleasing to God and Hollywood.

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
