Soldier's Orders: Peace Patrol*

The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:7 (NKJV)

Surpassing peace is a stunning blessing. Christians are blessed, staying calm in distress. Viewers are stunned, wondering how they cope so well in difficult circumstances– that enrage, depress, or confuse others.

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

  • Toward Satan and legions of demons, you're soldiers for God, wielding His power. They tremble and flee when you speak His Word.

  • Toward people who don’t (yet) know Jesus, you’re His Good News patrol, smiling and kind. They’re drawn to your supernatural peace.

You and your talent travel EVERYWHERE… through the fields of media (at light speed)– sharing love and hope with nary a frown.

You're not just keeping your peace to yourself. You’re also spreading God's peace to the world… in the Commission your Captain assigned.

Consider movie fans in theatres. Consider kids, hiding phones in their beds. This Scripture is LITERALLY fulfilled.

'The people who sat in darkness have seen a great Light, and upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned' (Matthew 4:16).

While war-like “Christians” rant about Pride Month, as if the ‘Lord of peace’ (2 Thessalonians 3:16) told them to draw a line in the sand, like Custer's last stand…

You offer love as ‘Ambassadors for Christ’ (2 Corinthians 5:20). As He ordered, you ‘Seek peace and pursue it’ (Psalm 34:14, 1 Peter 3:11). You embrace the truth some Christians forget: We’re NOT called 'To judge those outside the church' (1 Corinthians 5:12). So…

Before we call ANYONE “a sinner,” before we pretend to see someone’s heart, we must remove the dark plank from our eyes, 'For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God' (Romans 3:23). So…

Performers for God: Let us now agree:

  • God’s Holy Spirit is the best Teacher.

  • He’s also the best Convictor of sin.

  • Only Jesus is qualified to judge,

  • And He says, repeatedly, “Do not judge!”

  • He gives believers the power to change,

  • But His grace must be seen in our kindness,

  • Before non-believers want to “opt-in!”

Therefore,

Be peacemakers, patrolling Earth's highways and byways in the fields of media!

'Now may the God of peace Who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the Blood of the everlasting Covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His Sight, through Jesus Christ, to Whom be glory forever and ever. Amen' (Hebrews 13:20-21).

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
