Becoming: Everybody's Becoming Something

We are carefully joined together in Him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord.

Ephesians 2:21 (NLT)

Each of you is now a new person. You are becoming more and more like your Creator, and you will understand Him better.

Colossians 3:10 (CEV)

Everything on Earth is going somewhere. Every person is becoming something. All creation (even rocks and plastic) are made of atoms– and, therein, they move.

Where God’s beloved children are concerned, life is a journey, destiny’s a path, growth is a process, and every step counts.

God created Adam, the world's first man, with atoms, our world's micro-components. Both Adam and atoms were made to move…

Which leads us to ask this question AGAIN: Where am I going? (As saints, we think we’re headed to Heaven, but we’re wise to RE-consider our paths– because Satan is sly and expert at subtly shifting manipulations.)

Per Satan’s prompts, the world sees the short view:

  • Broad paths, fast tracks, glam faces, fine dresses, fun friends, great buys, smartphones, hot dates, sweet treats…

  • Luxe cars, grand homes, vast wealth, good seats, top jobs, leading roles, posh perks, and tempting trophies.

We’re wowed. We want to go there. But should we?

Much of the church looks like much of the world. Add in…

  • Veiled sin, small faith, wide pews, blind eyes, fake love, thick walls, puffed-up pride, and mission “moments” +

  • The Word cut into small bites on big screens; Pastors preaching popular passages to please, appease, and affirm baby faith.

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

Your mission to become stars of light. You were cast for this role before your birth. Therefore, look far beyond the world’s short view…

You’re also called to become church leaders: fully in The Word, but leading in love! Therefore…

You’re not in a sprint, nor pinned to a pew. Becoming like Christ in this special field is a progressive, continual rise!

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
