Unforgiveness: Actors, Models & Talent For Christ

Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us, just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word. With this in mind, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I too decided to write an orderly account for you...

Luke 1:1-3 (NIV)

You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

2 Corinthians 3:2-3 (NIV)

Actors, models, and talent for Christ: YOU are God’s love letters sent to the world! Friends, fans, and strangers can witness your glow: a glow of mercy and understanding. Your bear no anger. You harbor no grudge.

You know that anger misrepresents God and unforgiveness is Satan’s delight…

  • Because it causes deeper suffering than the original (and past) offense.

  • It undermines emotional healing and forward movement to a joyful life.

  • Also because God says ‘Vengeance is mine. I will repay’ (Deuteronomy 32:35)... IF we stay out of His way. 

I praise God for your wisdom and courage. I praise God for your rising and shining. Remember this Verse?

'Sow for yourselves righteousness;
Reap in mercy;
Break up your fallow ground,
For it is time to seek the Lord,
Till He comes and rains righteousness on you' (Hosea 10:12).

This fallow ground may not be your own field, but the mission fields of media, the fields that feed and affect the whole world… where your presence is urgently needed!

Because to angry or wayward children, to those who have strayed away from His Word, or to those prodigals yet to find It, He says:

‘You have plowed wickedness;
You have reaped iniquity.
You have eaten the fruit of lies,
Because you trusted in your own way,
In the multitude of your mighty men' (Hosea 10:13).

And you? Through the ways, means, and screens of media, your witness travels at the speed of light.

  • Physically speaking, that's 671 million miles per hour.

  • Spiritually speaking, that's the Light of Jesus you radiate.

You’re the “now” Way to reach countless people… even faster than the blink of an eye.

  • If your fellow performers, fans, and friends, if your fellow Christians and family… can see love (not hate),

  • Jesus inside of you will ROCK their world. By the grace of God, you break the fallow ground of hardened hearts.

What about our idol-worshipping world? You’ve been commissioned! Lead it lovingly!

'If My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My Face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land' (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Hallelujah!
