12 Steps To Heaven: #1, Walk Uprightly
Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle?
Who may dwell in Your holy hill?
He who walks uprightly…
Psalm 15:1-2 (NKJV)
I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.
Genesis 17:1 (NKJV)
And you shall teach them the statutes and the laws, and show them the way in which they must walk and the work they must do.
Exodus 16:1 (NKJV)
What does an upright walk look like on Earth?
God spells it out in hundreds of Verses that span both Testaments of the Bible.
But do remember what the word, WALK, means. It’s an action verb! It signifies how God wants us to act and move through this dark and turbulent world: notably— forward, outward, and upward.
Sidebar WARNING:
Sitting still (in complacent apathy) or confining our walk to our church grounds, can’t (alone) fulfill God’s Great Commission of shining the Light of Christ in the world.
Back to walking…
In the New Testament, the King of kings demonstrates the ultimate Model's walk.
'When His disciples saw Him walking on the sea' (Matthew 14:26), when they saw 'The lame walk' (Matthew 11:5)...
They realized they were on a new path that would change the way they walked forever!
Our glorious Director commands us…
'To walk in the same manner as He walked' (1 John 2:6),
To walk 'Blamelessly' (Luke 1:6), to 'Walk orderly' (Acts 21:24),
'So we too might walk in newness of life' (Romans 6:4);
To 'Walk in the Spirit' (Galatians 5:16),
To 'Walk by faith, not by sight' (2 Corinthians 5:7),
To 'Walk in wisdom' (Colossians 4:5) and most importantly…
To 'Walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us' (Ephesians 5:2).
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
The way you walk the 12 steps to Heaven (which IS a narrow path and upward climb), you can, must, and will…
'Walk worthy of the calling with which you were called' (Ephesians 4:1).

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players. Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
